November/December 2000:

• Website - The website was moved to it’s own Internet domain, www.usual-suspects-sailing.com on November 7, 2000.  The old location (www.eol.ca/~charukr) is no longer operational and was removed from the Internet as of November 11, 2000.
• The Boat - How I Bought the Boat Over the Internet. The complete story on how the boat The Usual Suspects was purchased sight unseen, over the Internet.  It really happened this way!
• The Experiences - Many requests have been received for the infamous Rummer recipe.  The Suspects are blessed with an abundance of expertise in these matters.
  • Senior Beverage Technician aboard The Usual Suspects publishes his thesis on Rummer Theory.  Tiny tells us everything we need to know about Rummers, but were too incapacitated to ask.
  • Chief Beverage Technician Stone finally publishes his secret Rummer recipes, following years of extensive field-testing.  The Recipes for Success have definitely stood the test of time.

November/December’s Background Photo features Marigot Bay, St. Lucia, one of the many experiences enjoyed aboard The Usual Suspects.

 

October 2000:

• The Adventures - November 1999 Adventure - Tangle With  “Wrong-Way”  Lenny.  Report from the November 1999 adventure in St. Lucia and Martinique, where we came face to face with Hurricane Lenny. 

October’s Background Photo features a GOES-8 satellite photo of Hurricane Lenny as it approaches St. Maarten from the west.

September 2000:

• The Boat - Charter Boat Ownership - 1 Year Anniversary Report
• Boat Boys of The Grenadines - Boat Boy Sydney Dallas now has a Website.  Could this be the start of boatboys.com, an IPO, or possibly e-T-Shirts?

August 2000

July 2000

• The Experiences - Destination: St. Lucia.  A description of the many experiences to be found on this tropical paradise.
• Fixes - In response to reader comments, navigation buttons have been added to the top and bottom margins of each page.
• Additions - I have also added a section that captures Previous Month’s News, in case you haven't visited for a while.

June 1, 2000 - The Usual Suspects website goes live.  First update contains the following:

• The Boat - Description of S/V The Usual Suspects.
• The Suspects - Rap sheets on the Prime Suspects and a few accomplices.
• The Experiences - Destination: The Grenadines, with a special feature on the Boat Boys of The Grenadines.

June’s Website Background Photo is the beautiful crescent beach at Salt Whistle Bay, Mayreau, in The Grenadines.
