Grenada is located in the southernmost part of the Windward Islands of the Caribbean Sea.  It is a popular destination for sailing vacations because it is a fascinating island with plenty of attractions, and serves as a gateway to The Grenadines.

Like St. Lucia, it is a country of rugged mountain terrain, dense vegetation, tropical rainforest, crystal waterfalls, and breathtaking views.  It is known as the “Isle of Spice” because of its production of nutmeg, cloves, ginger, cinnamon, and cocoa.

Many of the great experiences of Grenada are described here, in the hope that someday you too will share in them.

Most of the anchorages are on the south coast of the island, tucked deep into the surrounding hills.  Select an anchorage from the list or click on the map for a complete description of what it has to offer:

Carriacou and Petit Martinique are islands in the Grenadine chain, but part of Grenada.
